'What's the use of stories that aren't even true?!'- Haroun and the Sea of Stories by Salman Rushdie

The Story:

Haroun Kalifa's father Rashid is the greatest story teller in the land, the Sha of Blah, and is the only source of joy in the sad city that has forgotten its name. But when Rashid is overwhelmed with sadness he loses his ability to tell stories. Haroun sets out to the  find the Sea of Strories, the place where the stories water comes from that gives his father his gift of the gab. He finds a number of fanatical friends along the way but he also meets a great foe. Khatam-Shud rules over the dark side of the moon and plans to pollute the story water with bad stories and thus control the stories. Haroun must stop Khatam-Shud and find the happy ending for himself.
